Earth’s Healing 12 Year Anniversary

Inspired by her belief in the wellness potential of cannabis, founder Vicky Puchi-Saavedra began laying the groundwork for Earth’s Healing. She committed to creating a compassionate, high-integrity cannabis dispensary for Southern Arizona. In 2012, Earth’s Healing was awarded the Benson license through Arizona’s state-run dispensary lottery, a milestone that transformed vision into reality.

Earth’s Healing opened on May 20, 2013, as one of Tucson’s first medical dispensaries. With a focus on patient care, it initially offered a limited selection of strains and a few edibles. Despite starting small, serving only 20 to 30 customers, it set a new standard for medical cannabis in the region by showcasing product variety.

With limited resources, the first grow was built in two 500 sq. ft. rooms behind the store. Flower was sold deli-style, and the focus was on quality and consistency.

Years before it was required, we chose to test our products driven by a commitment to transparency and safety as part of our identity. Edibles and concentrates were also introduced despite unclear regulations at the time.

The company expanded its grow operation and built its first in-house lab, launching Earth Vape and Earth Dabs. Around this time, Earth’s Healing began offering Tucson’s first medical cannabis delivery service.

Fueled by a passion for quality concentrates, the team launched Earth Extracts, laying the foundation for future product innovation and vertical integration.

After acquiring an additional license, Earth’s Healing opened a second location at 78 W River Rd, broadening access across Tucson.

Renewal
Renovated the South store and completed a new production and cultivation facility to support future growth and improve product quality.

Introduced online ordering and pickup to meet public health guidelines and improve convenience for customers.

Commitment to Safety
Despite operating with reduced staff to comply with safety regulations, the team ensured stores were sanitized every hour and maintained strict compliance to protect both staff and customers.

Adult-Use Legalization
Invested in training staff and supporting new customers with the information they needed to make confident, informed choices—laying the foundation for adult-use cannabis access in Tucson.

Earth Grow, the company’s branded flower line, officially debuted. That same year, a dedicated off-site customer service center was launched to handle rising demand and provide real-time order support and education.

Healing launched its own security company to provide customer-first protection tailored to the cannabis industry, aligning safety with hospitality.

The team launched EX, a line of concentrates specialized in solventless concentrates, including hash and rosin, and PRZM, a premium high-THC flower line at accessible pricing.

As soon as adult-use delivery became legal, Earth’s Healing launched same-day recreational cannabis delivery in Tucson, continuing its mission to make access easier and more discreet.

June marks the launch of curbside pickup at both dispensary locations. This summer also brings the debut of Eddie’s Edibles—Earth’s Healing’s infused product line crafted for consistency, flavor, and experience.
